Co-Founder and former Co-Director of artnet Private Sale. Lori Yarotsky was previously Head Specialist of Modern & Contemporary Art at artnet Worldwide Corp., where she led the inaugural eCommerce development of artnet auctions and the Modern + Contemporary department. Additional to advising collectors, she also consults on projects for interactive online fine art sales platform creation and development.

She lectures, and advises museums and nationally and internationally prominent artists and collectors, and appraises individual artworks and entire collections for estate purposes, charitable gift purposes and de-accession purpose. She launched the contemporary gallery, Res Nova in New Orleans and later relocated it to 57th Street in New York City.

She works with new collectors to develop a theme or point of view as they embark on their adventures in the world of art collecting; and with established connoisseur collectors to locate the perfect artworks to complement existing collections. She advises private collectors, corporate and family collections and museums on all aspects of fine art purchases, including authenticity, condition/conservation, appraisals/value, framing/lighting, installation, cataloguing, shipping and storage. She consults on a project basis for interactive online fine art sales platform creation and development. Lori Yarotsky is a permanent faculty in the Department of Fine Arts at the School of Visual Arts in New York.
